The latest installment in the Cold-Formed Steel Engineers Institute (CFSEI) Technical Note series addresses code issues pertaining to the just-released ASTM International A1003 standard for sheet steel used in cold-formed steel framing. Tech Note G801-08, ASTM A1003 – No Cause for Rejection , was developed to help engineers, architects, specifiers and users of CFS better understand how to specify sheet steel, as well as what to do when they see this Standard in a specification.
